What to Expect During an Emsculpt Neo Treatment
The process of Emsculpt is pain-free and simple, which makes the treatment even more enjoyable. The treatment consists of only a few steps. The process of receiving an Emsculpt Neo treatment is as follows:
First, book a consult! We want to ensure you are a great candidate for Emsculpt
Day of appointment - Drink lots of water and don't eat right before
During appointment time our provider will weigh you and measure your body composition
Photographs are needed - so you can see your results in future
Next, our experienced provider will place a large elastic strap around the area
They will properly place the paddle, making sure the paddle is in direct contact with the skin.
Next, the provider will turn on the RF Energy to begin heating the area
Simultaneously, we will start the HIFEM Cycles which will alternate between intense contractions of your muscles and tapping of the muscle with different patterns to release lactic buildup.
As you progress through the treatment cycles, your provided will check in before turning the intensity up over the next 30 minutes to go from 20 - 100% (or up to an amount that you can tolerate)
The entire treatment cycle lasts 30 mins total.
If your skin gets too hot from the RF energy, the device will shut of the heat to protect you.
As well, there is an emergency stop button for the patient so that you can turn off the treatment if you desire (though no one has done this so far. The treatment is strange feeling and intense but not exactly painful)
When receiving the treatment you will feel intense muscle contractions, as well as a pulse sensation but it should never be painful. If the treatment does begin to feel uncomfortable your provider can easily turn down the setting to accommodate your own comfort level.
The next day, you can expect some soreness in the treatment area as if you have completed an intense workout and it is not recommended to workout that body area until the muscles recover, but there is no down time with this treatment, you can go back to your regular routine immediately.
